Kelsey Dooley – Food Shelf Manager

Kelsey Dooley moved to the Duluth area in 2016 after completing her master’s degree in nonprofit management from Hamline University. As a community member, she has worked in the nonprofit and public sector. Most recently she worked with the Treatment Courts as part of the MN Judicial Branch working with justice involved veterans, and before that worked with a nonprofit that serves homeless veterans and veterans facing housing and employment barriers.

Kelsey’s greatest passion is addressing issues of food insecurity and helping people get access to healthy food options. She has been active with Second Harvest North Lakes Food Bank as well as the Domiano Center’s food rescue program. Kelsey is eager to see that every area resident facing food insecurity has access to food resources.
